Despite the ongoing restrictions of the global pandemic and UNEP-WCMC continuing to operate as a largely virtual organisation in 2021, we have still been able to showcase our expertise via numerous scientific papers, reports, articles and social media communications. We organised online conferences and training sessions. We also shaped discussions at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress in France and the UN Climate Change Conference, COP26 in the UK.
