UNEP-WCMC. 2019. Analysis of CMS National Reports to COP13. UNEP-WCMC, Cambridge.

National reports continue to provide the best means available to assess the status of implementation of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS), and a key tool to guide decisions on current and future strategic priorities.

This report presents a synthesis of the information provided by Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) in their National Reports to the Convention’s Conference of Parties (COP) for the reporting period between COP12 and COP13 (October 2017-August 2019). It comprises an analysis of the 79 National Reports that were submitted by the reporting deadline for COP13, representing 61% of Parties that were signatories to CMS at the time. As of the time of writing (October 2019), a further ten National Reports had been received.
