Through extensive interviews with those involved with the CTI-CFF, the report describes the context, drivers, scope and design, stakeholder collaboration and implementation of the CTI-CFF with particular emphasis on its cross-border cooperation in a Maritime/Marine Spatial Planning context. The Report highlights the outcomes and lessons learned from the CTI-CFF, which are used to make recommendations on cross-border collaboration in Maritime Spatial Planning.
UNEP-WCMC led the development of this Case Study within a consortium of partners coordinated by NIRAS and contracted by the European Commission as part of a Study on International Best Practices on Cross-border Maritime Spatial Planning.
