The Global Coral Disease Database (GCDD) aims to collate information on the global distribution of coral diseases to contribute to the understanding of coral disease prevalence. Up to date information on the global abundance and distribution of diseases is critical for understanding how current reef management practices and human impacts affect the spread and severity of diseases, and for informing policy and management decision making. The GCDD is the result of a collaboration between UNEP-WCMC and NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service.
This is now a legacy Access database and should be used with caution.
