The Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT) is designed to facilitate access to accurate and up-to-date biodiversity information to support critical business decisions. The tool is the result of a groundbreaking conservation partnership between BirdLife International, Conservation International (CI), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and United Nations Environment Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC). IBAT is based on three globally authoritative datasets: Protected Areas, Key Biodiversity Areas and The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. These geospatial data, alongside additional interpreted data layers, are provided through tailored reporting options, data download and API functionality.
