This document provides a tool to calculate an index for the indicator on national implementation of the Gender Plan of Action (2023-2030). The document provides: a description of each field presented in the index calculator (“User guide” tab), an illustrative example to assist with understanding of the methodology for the indicator as well as its interpretation ("Index calculator illustration” tab), the questionnaire which forms the core of this indicator (“Questionnaire” tab), and an index calculator available to be filled in by the user (“Index calculator” tab). Parties are encouraged to share further information to showcase action, namely by providing supporting evidence and/or examples, if available that they can use in the relevant section of their national reports (Annex – Gender Plan of Action). This tool provides a space to gather such information (“Questionnaire” tab).
