This guidance document has been produced to facilitate the understanding and implementation of a metadata standard. This standard has been designed for use specifically in relation to the Norwegian Environment Agency’s initiatives on marine and coastal biodiversity data under the Oil for Development (OfD) Programme, but can be applied in, or adapted to, the requirements of different locations.
